Representative Sharice Davids issued the following statement on the inauguration of President Donald Trump and Vice President JD Vance:

“Kansans know I’ll work with anyone when it’s good for our state, and that includes the newly inaugurated President Trump. While I’ve often disagreed with him, we’ve found common ground when it benefits local communities, and I’m confident that will continue. At the same time, I won’t hesitate to stand up against extreme policies that harm hardworking families, from attacks on reproductive rights to threats against Social Security and affordable health care. My focus is on uniting across party lines and making life better for Kansas families by driving down costs and creating good-paying jobs.”
