U.S. Rep. Sharice Davids visit Spring Hill High School for 'Farm Bill Tour'

SPRING HILL, Kan. —

U.S. House Rep. Sharice Davids (D-KS) got her hands dirty on Thursday showing off livestock.

Davids visited Spring Hill High School as part of the Farm Bill Tour.

She heard from students about how to best advocate for Kansas farmers on Capitol Hill.

"It's also important for someone like me to understand what the future of ag looks like and the ways we could be supporting new entrants into farming," Davids said.

The Farm Bill is usually renewed every five years and will help shape agriculture and nutrition policy.
