Davids Statement on Kansas Constitutional Amendment

Representative Sharice Davids (KS-03) released the following statement on the Kansas constitutional amendment regarding abortion:

"Last year, the Kansas Supreme Court reaffirmed Kansans' fundamental right to make their own decisions about their bodies and health care. Tomorrow, the Kansas House will vote on a measure designed to take away that right and set our state up for a complete ban on abortion, even in the case of rape, incest, or health of the mother.

"With Roe v. Wade under threat nationwide, there has never been a more important time to stand strong against attacks on reproductive rights. I will always fight to ensure Kansas families have access to the full range of health care services they need, including reproductive health care."
