Bipartisan Results for Kansans

I'm serving you to bring a new generation of leadership to Washington. My mom raised my brothers and me on her own while serving in the Army and then in the Postal Service. I later worked my way through college and am still paying off my student loans. I know people are sick and tired of partisan gridlock because I’ve felt that same frustration myself.

Good ideas can come from Republicans and Democrats. That’s why more than seven out of every ten bills that I’m supporting are bipartisan.

I’ve also pushed for:

Bipartisan Action to Change Washington: I stood up to my party’s leaders by supporting a bipartisan bill to ban insider stock trading by members of Congress.

Bipartisan Help for Veterans: I worked with both parties to pass a law that’s funding a new clinic at the Kansas City VA. This means helping more veterans who were exposed to toxic burn pits.

Bipartisan Results: Locally, I worked with Republicans and Democrats to bring Panasonic’s new manufacturing plant to De Soto. This means 4,000 jobs for our community, the largest-ever economic project for Kansas.

I’m here to serve every person and corner of our community, regardless of party. That starts with listening, so please take my survey on this page to share your thoughts with me. You can also use this page to find assistance, such as help with federal issues like veterans’ benefits or Social Security, or to locate resources to save on things like groceries, gas, and more.

Rep. Davids with a Kansas family.

I’m here to serve every person and corner of our community, regardless of party. A big part of that is making sure that my office is always here to serve you however we can.

My office is here to help folks who are having issues at federal government agencies. That’s everything from backlogged veterans’ benefits to stalled tax refunds. We also work to connect people with resources that can help them – including things that can help people save on groceries, gas, and much more.

Below are links to access our services and resources. If you have any questions, please always feel free to contact us to ask questions.

Help for Taxpayers: I know taxes can be a source of stress for families. We may be able to help address issues with the IRS, like recovering a stalled refund.

Support for Military Personnel and Veterans: My mother served in the U.S. Army for 20 years. We’re here to help with any number of VA issues, including backlogged benefits.

Lower Costs Resources: I’m focused on bipartisan solutions to make life more affordable. As this work continues, please find free and publicly available resources to help with the cost of gas, groceries, housing, health care, and much more on our lower costs page.

Assistance for Seniors: Seniors deserve a dignified retirement after working hard their whole lives. We’re here to help people who are having issues with Social Security, Medicare, or other federal government programs.

Help for Small Businesses: Entrepreneurship is baked into our district’s DNA. We may be able to help business owners who are having trouble with SBA loans and other issues.

Public Safety Resources: You deserve to be safe. On our public safety webpage, you can find resources such as law enforcement contacts, property checks, mental health assistance, fire safety, child safety resources, and more.

Assistance with Passports: If you are having issues with a passport, including a stalled application or not receiving your passport in time, we may be able to help.

Support for Homeowners: Facing foreclosure or need a loan modification? We can connect you to resources at the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau that may be helpful.

Service Academy Nominations: I’m honored to nominate talented young people to our military service academies. Applications are due each fall.
