Representative Sharice Davids (KS-03) is seeking a wounded or disabled veteran for a two-year paid fellowship in her Overland Park district office as part of the Wounded Warrior Fellowship Program.
The veteran chosen for the special fellowship will work with the military and veteran constituents to handle veteran-related casework and act as a facilitator between constituents and federal, state, and local agencies.
Rep. Davids announced today that she has been named to the New Democrat Coalition's Healthcare and Tech Task Forces. She will co-chair the task force on tech.
The Healthcare Task Force will serve as a convening force for pragmatic solutions in the healthcare debate. Their work will focus on ways to stabilize the individual markets and protect and expand on the ACA to work toward universal affordable health care. The Technology Task Force will focus on issues including emerging technology, global competitiveness, innovation, data privacy and artificial intelligence.

Robeson is a mother and healthcare advocate from Prairie Village, Kansas. Her 7-year-old son Danny was born prematurely and has cerebral palsy, epilepsy, and cortical vision impairment—health conditions that could be considered pre-existing conditions.
