Today, U.S. Representatives Sharice Davids (D-KS) and Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-MO) announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded $6,469,000 in federal funding to Cultivate KC to advance conservation and climate-smart agriculture in Kansas City. The federal investment was made possible by the USDA’s Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP), a partner-driven approach to conservation that funds local projects that provide solutions to natural resource challenges on agricultural land.

(Edwardsville, KS) - Today, Representative Sharice Davids toured Varsity Yearbook in Edwardsville to highlight the $5 million in funding for Kansas Manufacturing Solutions (KMS) to continue providing services and support to local manufactures. Based in Lenexa, KMS is the only federally supported Manufacturing Extension Partnership (MEP) Program Center in the state of Kansas.

Today, Representative Sharice Davids accompanied a local Mission resident to shop for groceries to hear their concerns and discuss her bipartisan work to lower grocery prices. Earlier this year, Davids helped introduce legislation to protect America’s food and agriculture supply chains and prevent disruptions that inflate grocery costs for consumers.

Today, U.S. Representatives Sharice Davids (D-KS), Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-MO), and Jake LaTurner (R-KS) came together to call on the National Park Service and the Brown v. Board of Education National Historical Park (NHP) to incorporate the history of Webb v. School District 90 (Webb) into the NHP’s permanent exhibits at the Monroe Elementary School site and any future NHP sites.
