Today, U.S. Representatives Sharice Davids (D-KS) and Emanuel Cleaver, II (D-MO) announced that the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has awarded $6,469,000 in federal funding to Cultivate KC to advance conservation and climate-smart agriculture in Kansas City. The federal investment was made possible by the USDA’s Regional Conservation Partnership Program (RCPP), a partner-driven approach to conservation that funds local projects that provide solutions to natural resource challenges on agricultural land.
