Sharice Davids today announced her support of The Protecting Pre-Existing Conditions & Making Health Care More Affordable Act, a sweeping new health care bill that will lower Kansans health insurance premiums, strengthen protections for people with pre-existing conditions, and reverse attacks on our health care system.

Emphasizing the importance of expanding Medicaid in Kansas, Rep. Sharice Davids has co-sponsored the Incentivizing Medicaid Expansion Act of 2019 (H.R. 584). This bill would incentivize eligible states, including Kansas, to expand Medicaid by starting the amount the federal government matches state’s investment for expansion at 100 percent.
