Yesterday, Representative Sharice Davids received a Director's Award from The University of Kansas Cancer Center. The award, given during the cancer center's annual research week, recognizes a legislator who has contributed significantly to the cancer center's mission.

Today, Representative Sharice Davids received the "Advocate for American Business" award from the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. The award is given to elected officials who advocate and fight for pro-business public policy in a bipartisan manner. Davids serves on the U.S. House Small Business Committee and chairs the Subcommittee on Economic Growth, Tax and Capital Access.

Today, Representative Sharice Davids announced new cost savings and tax incentives for Kansans who electrify their home and vehicles. The tax credits and rebates are available to households who install new energy-efficient windows, doors, water heaters, furnaces, and other appliances or purchase a new or used electric vehicle.

OSAWATOMIE, KS - Today, Representative Sharice Davids joined the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks (KDWP) to officially announce a federal grant of $24,821,705 has been awarded to improve and expand the Flint Hills Trail. This "Rebuilding American Infrastructure with Sustainability and Equity" (RAISE) grant will help make infrastructure improvements on 40.5 miles of the trail and open 27 new miles of the trail, from Council Grove to Herington.

DESOTO, KS - Today, Representative Sharice Davids hosted a conversation with DeSoto elected officials and local leaders on how she can best support the community from a federal level as they prepare to welcome a new Panasonic Energy manufacturing plant. Davids worked closely with Governor Laura Kelly and a bipartisan group of local leaders in government and business to help attract the $4 billion investment.
