On the 10th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act (ACA), Representative Sharice Davids called on the Trump Administration to end its Texas v. U.S. lawsuit, which would strike down the entirety of the ACA, as well as the protections for 1.2 million Kansans with pre-existing conditions, amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Representative Sharice Davids issued on the following statement on the first COVID-19 related death in Kansas:
"My heart is with the family members and loved ones of the patient who passed away from COVID-19 in Wyandotte County tonight. My office has been in close contact with local and state public health officials, who are working around the clock to curb the spread of this virus. This hearing comes in the wake of Congress' $8.3 billion emergency funding package, which enables the Small Business Administration to make an estimated $7 billion in low-interest loans to affected small businesses.
